NOTIFICATION

Sub. :- Partial Exemption of RST on Capital Goods to the Units in RIICO's Agro Food Parks.

Jaipur, dated : 26-02-2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Rajasthan Sales Tax Act. 1994 (Rajasthan Act. No. 22 of 1995), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby allows the industrial units established in the Agro Food Parks developed by RIICO at Kota, Jodhpur and Sriganganagar to claim such partial exemption (set off) from tax payable in respect of sale of goods manufactured subject to the conditions, as follows :-

1. such partial exemption shall be allowed to the extent of the tax paid under the Act, only in relation to the purchase of capital goods.

2. such capital goods shall be utilized by them in establishment of industrial units in such Agro Food Parks.

3. that no refund of the tax paid on capital goods shall be available under this notification.
